The Cervantes Birthplace Museum organises different cultural activities for its visitors in order to make the figure of Miguel de Cervantes, his work and his time come alive for them, using the museum as a learning tool and point of reference.
Activities are offered throughout the year, with particular emphasis on dates of cultural interest and relevance to the museum:
Grupo de niños con máscaras en la cara posando después de participar en el taller de carnaval. Carnaval, the activities carried out during these festivities focus on the clothing and accessories worn by different social classes in the Spanish Golden Age.
Book Week (Around 23 April) Activities revolve around book illustration and the techniques used in this art.
International Museum Day (18 May) Proposals that focus on the importance of museums as preservers of cultural heritage and on celebrations in the time of Cervantes. Grupo de niños posando con los libros que han hecho en el taller de la semana del libro.

Christmas. The museum organises activities primarily but not exclusively related to leisure and culinary culture in the Spanish Golden Age.
